FAQ
Q: What program did you use?
A: Photoshop CS5 and and a Wacom Bamboo Fun M
Q: Can you share your brushes?
A. [link]
Q: I'm a total beginner. How should I start my drawing to make it work?
A: Hey! I'm a total beginner too. But... Do not use others pieces as references. Do not try to copy others. It will kill the flow and imagination factors. If You fell that something doesn't work change it. At the beginning start whit large shapes and try to imagine what those shapes could turn into. Use basic brushes like round brush and chalk brush whit pressure on.
Q: Any other advices ?
A: First of all. Practice, practice and after that more practice. Good music in the background. Whatever You like. Everything will come in time I guess. Do not go into details at the beginning of Your
adventure whit painting. I had to learn it on my skin.. I discovered that going into details in the early stage will kill the work from inside and You will be very disappointed about progress of Your piece. Really. Don't think what You want to draw. Just splash some big shapes into canvas . Try random tones. Drop some texture. Try to find something in it and go forward whit idea that is evaluating in Your imagination. Very important is to establish the light source and then drop lights and shadows in appropriate areas of Your "shapes". Bingo. Then add some colors and You almost there. When finally image is readable go for the details. Don't be afraid to mess up whit Your painting. Later on You can try random PS additional features which will help You to learn random tech and ways.
Q:How long You do painting?
A: I'm a self-learner. I start to learn how to draw Dec.2010.. I didn't have any Idea how to use PS etc. I never had a chance to study nor even practice it before that date. First couple of months I didn't care about all that drawing to much. I got really hooked up around March 2011. It was the day when I realize that I like it enough to stick whit it for while.
(I'm sorry about spelling. If You would like to correct me please do.)
